According to media.fcanorthamerica.com, “with the mission of cultivating, planting and growing its Indiana workforce, FCA US officially celebrated the opening of two new training facilities in the Hoosier state during a ceremony today at the World Class Manufacturing Academy…World Class Manufacturing (WCM) is a methodology that focuses on eliminating wast, and improving quality and safety in a systematic and organized way.” This represents a $2.1 million investment which will introduce the new system to more than 1,500 employees each year and will be a feeder program for the transmission plants in both Tipton and Kokomo, Indiana.
