Many watched the Super Bowl in anticipation of the game and many were just there for the awesome food and the commercials. Many took to social media to comment on this years celebratory approach to all dads instead of waiting until the usual Father's Day that dads are embraced and recognized but the majority of the reviews garnered the somber tone than the expected jovial fun that many are used to from previous years; "advertisers are on trial via social media" explains media strategist Shari Anne Brill, but one that stood out was Dodge's approach to bringing forth wisdom from those whom have lived and had gems to share on what has made their 100 years or more the most memorable. From the most simple that many of us were taught as kids "always tell the truth" and learn not to cheat to what you learn as you got through the throws of life "live for now, because life is good; you make it good" understanding that life will happen but life for now and do what you can today not waiting until tomorrow because if you "hesitate you lose" because opportunity will usually only knock once.

Adweek gave it a thumbs up stating that its' "rare to see elderly treated respectfully in ads" whereas Caranddriver.com rated it the best commercial citing that it "manages to elevate the whole spirit of the brand" and we could not agree more with both. It was interesting to see so many "tell it like it is" and sharing some of the most simplistic ways to view life but to get so much joy out of it. As we reveled in seeing them sharing their wisdom, how cool was it to see the rebirth of the Dodge Challenger  HEMI, Scat Pack, it was a definite rebirth of an icon as we enjoyed Fred Wilde "living fast" revving the engine definitely "putting the pedal to the metal" and driving off! Dodge definitely hit the mark in giving us all something to think about, as long as you "never forget where you came from; you learn a lot in 100 years."
